Why Lau Lau Sew Girl?

Lau Lau Girl is my little one’s nickname. Lau Lau is also a traditional Hawaiian dish which tastes delicious! That’s my little girl through and through: traditionally yummy!

About Me

Hi, I’m Susie Contreras Yuen; mom to a busy toddler, writer, wanna-be seamstress, and red velvet cake connoisseur. When my daughter was born I became interested in all sorts of things I never was before, including sewing. You could say sewing is in my blood; my grandma sewed, my mom sews, and now I’m learning and having fun doing it.
